The DWDM Coherent Transceiver Module module is a fully integrated 100Gbps optical transponder which enables network equipment vendors to build 100Gbps long haul, ultra long haul, submarine and metro transport solutions.

The DWDM Coherent Transceiver Module is built on coherent detection technology that dynamically compensates linear fiber plant impairments such as Chromatic Dispersion (CD) and Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD).

The excellent optical performance and internal Soft Decision FEC enables the DWDM Coherent Transceiver Module to be integrated into transport systems designed using 10Gps engineering rules with inline dispersion compensation modules (DCMs) as well as newer systems without DCMs.

The built-in training sequence facilitates very fast CD tuning which enables sub 50ms optical protection and restoration in next generation dynamically switched networks.

The DWDM Coherent Transceiver Module support of OTU-4 framing over the OTL4.10 interface facilitates interfacing with existing OTU-4 framing solutions on the host board.
